但就我的經驗來看,你如果沒有不斷回顧和反省這些東西的話,它們是不會一直放在心上的,而常常反省的話,絕對有助於我們確保我們的行動和選擇是一致的。

2. 設定生活目標

這裡指的不是每天的工作行事曆或者今年要出國去哪裡玩?要不要買什麼東西...等等之類這一些目標 ,

而是通過不斷地問自己:「這對我有什麼重要意義?」來更明確地定義我們的生活目標。(為何而活?希望自己活出什麼樣的人生?)

我們要確保我們的行動是有意義的,朝著我們所渴望的生活前進。

3. 追求意義感

在追求自己的目標之餘,我們還要去關心更廣泛的社會和人類需求。
