Novara REACTS To BBCQT Special w/ Nigel Farage & Adrian Ramsay
Heat up [Music] here. about Heat. Heat. Hey.
Hey. Hey. Hey. Heat up here.
Heat. Hello, good evening. Welcome again. I'm glad you could join me on this fine Friday night.
My name's Aaron Bastani. This is Navaria's live coverage and reaction to the BBC question election special. I can't wait. You know why?
We have a real conflict of politics here tonight to watch. We have on the one hand in the blue corner uh UK's Nigel Farage, Reform UK's Nigel Farage rather. And in the red corner, maybe the green red corner, the Green Party's co-leader, Adrien Ramsey, they'll be facing a Question Time studio audience. Sadly, they won't be on the platform together.
I think that would have been great TV. A bit like what we saw with Rishi Sunnak and Karm on Wednesday. I think Adrian Ramsey or Ka and Nigel Farage would have been great. On the one hand, somebody who wants zero migration.
On the other hand, somebody who wants broadly poorest borders, single market, rejoin the EU, um public ownership of rail, mail and water, and actually to be fair, reform actually have quite a radical policy on that too. But on most things, they are miles apart. My expectations are I don't know really most of this over the next hour I think will be quite defensive. The format means parties are on the defense.
I think that's going to make really interesting TV with Nigel Fraj. Him having to defend himself, not from quote unquote elite London journalists, but from the public. Maybe a format which is quite a sticky wicket for the reform UK leader. For Adrien Ramsey, I think this is really useful for him having a national political media moment because of course he's trying to win that constituency of Wave Valley.
It's very close. People I've spoken to on the ground there think that he will either win or come a very close second. The problem of course in polling for it is that it's a Tory seat and many Tory voters say I won't be turning up and if they're all being honest then he will win. But of course as we know shy Tories in a general election well they are a thing.
I think this debate is getting ready to go. Let me know what you think on the YouTube super chat and we'll ...
