Changing Keys When Soloing On Guitar — 30 Minute Lesson
I'm back. Back in black. Actually, I am wearing black. Uh just got back actually.
I was in uh Rochester over the weekend for a uh Biato family reunion. First one, honestly, that we've ever had. There was there was like 80 biats there. Something like that.
Um, many of which, now I wouldn't say many of which, but a bunch of which I never met before or I didn't know or maybe I haven't seen them in 50 years, something like that. But, uh, it's really interesting. Um, uh, let's see. And I was just recently out of town.
I went up to, uh, I went up to New York and, um, I did actually went went on a trip last week. I went to Portsouth, New Hampshire, and I went to the uh Portsmith drum shop or drum shop of Portsouth, place that I've ordered drums from before. Um that uh uh and I went and filmed a video there and met the uh owner, Shane, who I've talked to on the phone before, but it's a huge it's the biggest drum store in the country, and I wanted to go there and I love going to music stores, so I made a trip up there. And then I went down to New York and I went over to um uh interview Andy Wallace.
For those of you that don't know who Andy Wallace is, Andy Wallace is one of the greatest mixers of all time. Andy mixed everything from Run DMC Aerosmith Walked This Way to Slayer Rain and Blood to Nirvana Nevermind to the first two Rage Against Machine records to At the Drive-In the first two Lincoln Park records uh System of a Down uh you name it. He also produced Jeff Buckley Grace. Uh, and I interviewed him for three hours and didn't even get close to uh, being able to go through.
He's worked with everybody you can imagine. Look up his discoraphy. Andy Wallace, not the not the race car driver. Uh, Andy Wallace mixer.
Never does interviews. Never. I've never seen an interview with him. Uh, and so this is I'm really excited about that one.
